  • CAIRS Automated Switch Interface (ASI) is a software module that enables users to perform Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) on their PBX systems. The ASI module features a graphical user interface (GUI) that incorporates PBX-specific business logic and commands to handle complex provisioning tasks seamlessly in the background.

For environments where MACs are still performed directly on the PBX, CAIRS ASI also supports synchronization. It can retrieve all phone-related data from the PBX, ensuring that CAIRS remains accurate and updated.

CAIRS enhances telephone management by tracking essential information such as address, room number, organization, and billing account codes—each associated with a specific phone set. Without the ASI module, switch technicians would need to perform dual data entry by manually updating both the PBX and the CAIRS database to maintain data consistency. ASI eliminates this inefficiency by streamlining and automating the process.
